The terms for using this website and, when ordering opens, purchasing research materials.
Updated September 19, 2026These terms include limits on liability and an individual arbitration and class-action waiver provision below. They apply to Amino Society, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Amino Society.
Eligibility and intended use.
By using aminosociety.org, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 21, legally able to agree to them, and a qualified researcher or purchasing for legitimate in-vitro research. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. We may request research credentials and decline access or an order when eligibility cannot be verified.
All products are for lawful laboratory research only. They are not for human or animal use, food, cosmetics, diagnosis, treatment, or disease prevention. Site content is not medical advice or dosing guidance. You are responsible for legal compliance, safe handling, storage, and disposal. Read the Research use policy for more detail.
Orders, prices, and delivery.
Checkout currently does not accept orders or payments. When ordering opens, an order will be subject to our acceptance, verification, and availability. Prices, promotions, and specifications may change; we may correct an error and contact you about an affected order. Accepted payment methods and charges will be those shown at checkout for your location. We will not collect payment through a method labeled coming soon.
Available shipping destinations and charges will appear at checkout. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. You must provide a complete, accurate address and determine whether import and possession are lawful in your jurisdiction. Applicable duties and taxes may be your responsibility unless checkout states otherwise. See Shipping & returns.
Returns and accounts.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items within seven calendar days of delivery with an order number and photographs. Verified issues may be resolved by replacement or refund of the affected item. Opened, reconstituted, used, altered, or improperly stored research materials are not returnable. Changes and cancellations are possible only before fulfillment or shipment. Applicable non-waivable legal rights remain in effect.
If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential and your information accurate. Notify us of unauthorized account activity. We may suspend an account or decline an order for fraud, unlawful activity, misrepresentation, or use inconsistent with these terms.
Content and conduct.
Amino Society owns or licenses the site's text, product imagery, design, logos, and software. You may use them for personal research reference but may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit them without permission. Do not interfere with the site, access systems without permission, misrepresent eligibility, resell products without authorization, or promote products for human or animal use.
COAs describe only the identified sample, batch, and analysis. A report does not guarantee a particular experimental result. Links to outside sites are provided for convenience; their content and policies are their own.
Risk, warranties, and liability.
You assume responsibility for the lawful purchase, possession, handling, storage, and research use of these materials. To the extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided as available, without an implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise a specific research result or uninterrupted website service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amino Society and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to the site or products. Our aggregate liability for a product claim will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law. You agree to indemnify Amino Society for third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, misuse, or breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Dispute resolution.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes concerning these Terms, the website, or products will be resolved by final, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules, in Wilmington, Delaware or by videoconference. Intellectual-property claims and requests for injunctive relief may be brought in court. Either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court.
You and Amino Society agree not to bring a class, consolidated, or representative proceeding to the extent this waiver is enforceable. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@aminosociety.org with your name and account email. If the class-action waiver is unenforceable, the arbitration provision is void and the dispute may be heard in a court in Delaware. Nothing in this section waives mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes and contact.
Delaware law governs these Terms except where mandatory local law applies. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. Events beyond our reasonable control may delay performance. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date; where law requires notice or consent, we will provide it. These Terms, together with the policies linked here, form the agreement about this website and its products.
